Asylum Chapel Wedding Photographer

Asylum Chapel is one these venues where you want to come back again and again to photograph its stunning interior. I was pretty excited after my initial meeting with Hazel and Murray – when they told me that they were getting married in one of my bucket list’s venue; quirky, derelict, lead by artists place – the Asylum chapel in Peckham. I almost jumped out of my chair when they told me that ceremony would be followed by the reception in stunning Brixton East.

The day itself was fantastic. Hazel was getting ready in a huge apartment near Burgess park where talented makeup artist and hair stylist Kate from “Lipstick & Curls” was looking after her bridal look. Hazel was putting on the bespoken wedding dress which she had helped to design. She also handmade her vintage jewellery –  wedding earrings and hair decore out of peacock’s feathers. After busy morning preparations, Hazel with bridesmaids heads over to the Asylum chapel in Peckham.

Murray was already waiting for her down the aisle. The romantic and touching ceremony made everyone emotional. It was truly moving, seeing these two promising each other unconditional love. After gathering in Asylum, everyone hopped on the red double-decker bus which took us to the reception venue. Brixton East is an amazingly atmospheric two-level venue – on the ground you have got dining area, and on the upper level, bar and dance floor are located. If you looking for a quirky, artistic venue for an unforgettable party Brixton East is an excellent choice in South London.  And that’s specifically how Hazel and Murray use this place to their advantage. Brixton East looked stunning decorated with lights flowers and vintage travel accents. Everyone enjoyed great music when the party caught on the fabulous rhythm.

If you still searching for an Asylum or Brixton East wedding photographers, we are looking forward to hearing from you.
