London Vintage Wedding Photography

Claire and Ciaran are another of beautiful couples we had a pleasure to photograph this year. They are genuinely lovely people and being around them on their special day was a real blessing. Their wedding day was phenomenal, full of beautiful details and vintage touches.

The ceremony itself took place in the stunning St Mary’s Church in Blackheath followed by the drinks and formal group photographs in the church backyard. We were fortunate with the weather, and pretty much everyone was enjoying sunny splits outdoor. Claire who was eight months pregnant at that time looked beautiful and relaxed through the whole day. The couple session went like a breeze with both of them laughing and joking around.

Following drink reception in the garden, all the guests moved to the church hall where they could enjoy tasty teas with scones. They both wanted relaxing, intimate wedding with afternoon tea reception. Claire and Ciaran are a big The Beatles’ fans. They included plenty of details reflecting their love to the Liverpool group like tables’ names and bands pictures as a part of the centrepieces. And obviously, the music! Guests could listen to the greatest Beatles’ hits through the entire evening. The final result was remarkable, and we couldn’t stop ourselves from photographing all those gorgeous bits and pieces around the reception room –  vintage teapots, adorable suitcases, old typer or “naked” fruitcake.

Please check for yourself below as I think the pictures taken on the day will tell you more than any words. Claire and Ciaran, thank you for choosing me to be your London vintage wedding photographer.
