Barcelona Destination Wedding Photographer

Barcelona welcomed us with generous splits of sun and warm breeze. After leaving cold, early spring London – it was a great turn for Spanish wedding and Barcelona Destination Wedding Photographer.

We started our short trip from visiting the most known place in Catalonia. Art Nouveau styled, Basilica Sagrada Família which is an unfinished church designed by a well-known Spanish architect – Antoni Gaudi. Another of his beautiful project is Casa Mila which Gaudi designed exclusively with natural forms. Interestingly, you won’t be able to find a single right angle on this building.

We headed over towards Cathedral of Barcelona and a nearby gothic quarter. It’s a place with narrow medieval streets filled with trendy Catalan restaurants and artisan leather and jewellery stores. One of the busiest and most popular places leading to the beach is La Rambla. Filled with flower stalls and street-food trucks it’s great for a family walk. We also passed the Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella on our way to the port. We finished our day on the beach saying “hello” to Columbus statue located nearby. Interestingly, we found out that he points towards America’s direction.

The following day we spent entirely in the Park Guell. We had a chance to explored astonishing park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements. It was designed by previously mentioned Catalan modernist  – Gaudi. Multicolour Spanish mosaics and organic shapes that you can notice in the Park Guell unleashed Gaudi’s architectonic imagination. He put to practice his innovative solutions that would become the symbol of his organic style in the future.
